Abstract

Society of Pharmacovigilance, India (SoPI) was established in 2000 with an objective to foster science and learning in the discipline of pharmacovigilance. The society fulfils this aim by providing opportunities for networking in a friendly environment, collegial and convivial support among fellow pharmacovigilance professionals and members, open and impartial forum for sharing experience and knowledge, platform for discussion and generation of new research and ideas, meetings, education and affordable training during annual meetings of SoPI. In addition, it also supports national conferences, seminars and symposiums held at different colleges and universities.
